I was an early success story that became a late bloomer.

I was always told when I was young that I had talent and praised regularly. Unfortunately, I believed the praise and stepped out into life expecting things to be handed to me the same way they always had been. It took ten years of living on my own and barely skating by to understand how much more important hard work is than talent.

At 27, I attended college and majored in graphic design while maintaining a strong focus on illustration. I leveraged my talents to create projects that allowed both aspects of my creativity to shine as brightly as possible. While studying, I discovered a number of designers and artists who helped refine my approach to creation and the kind of work that I find pleasing.

Currently, I’ve fallen in love with photography and have set about documenting the world around me. I hope you enjoy my photos even a little bit as much as I enjoyed taking them.
